Crystal Threadgill is a Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by The American Nurses Credentialing Center. Threadgill is a graduate of The University of Mobile, where she received her undergraduate degree and a Master of Science in Nursing Education. In 2002, she received the Alpha Theta Chi Collegiate Honor Society Award for outstanding leadership. She has enjoyed the opportunity throughout her career to educate nursing students in a fulltime capacity and as an adjunct instructor both in Alabama and Mississippi.

Prior to furthering her career, she became board certified as a registered nurse in Mental Health and has more than 23 years of experience. With holding several positions in Mental Health, Geriatric Psychiatry became near and dear to her heart, gaining her the 2014 nomination for the Helen Davis Memorial Award. She was recognized for consistently demonstrating excellence in patient-centered care and commitment to developing the nursing profession.

In 2013, Threadgill received her PhD in Nursing from The University of Southern Mississippi and was granted The Doctor of Philosophy Award. Later, in 2016, she received her Post-MSN Nurse Practitioner Certification from Eastern Kentucky University, and at that time quickly gained interest in Autism & Adult Psychiatry.

Some of her memberships include: The Honor Society of Sigma Theta Tau International, Bay Area Nurse Practitioner Association, & The Alabama State Nurses Association. She has an interest in working with not only young adults, but adolescents and their parents as they transition through the stress of academics, peer pressures, and struggling with issues related to identity, culture, and school & work-life balance from middle school to college. If you are an adult of any age or an adolescent seeing a therapist, she can coordinate care and provide medication management.

Threadgill offers comprehensive evaluations & medication management for psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia & bipolar disorders. Collectively working with the client to address their goals resulting in more fulfilling relationships, and life experiences is paramount. Threadgill is accepting new patients and Saturday appointments are available.
